Third Hotel

Hi from Manhattan, Kansas! We arrived here early enough to relax, have a wander, and have a couple beers/lemonade. Now we're back at the hotel to relax and get ourselves organized for the next few days.

Last night we stayed in Illinois, and this morning we drove through St Louis. I was so excited to see the arch that I forgot to take a picture of it with Cerys' Tiny Fox for her scrapbook. Boooo!

Today we stopped in Kansas City to see dear friends from my Ringling Art School days. It was wonderful to see them after 20+ years, but our visit was all too short. I'm hoping they'll come up to see us in Anchorage! Oh, and again I forgot to take a picture with them. Double Boooo!

So tomorrow we're heading to Colorado to see family and stay 2 nights. Woo-hoo!  I can't complain about the hotels we've stayed in though. Jason did an awesome job choosing the towns and hotels. The drives are not too long and the areas are great. I think I'll keep him a little longer. :)
